I’m referring to Phantasy Star 1-4 from the Master System/Genesis days. Despite their constant inclusion in Genesis collections, they’ve seem to have fallen into obscurity. Anytime I bring up the series, people only seem to care about Phantasy Star Online.

I’d only recommend the second game if you REALLY love your turn based games, and are a glutton for punishment. At times it’s almost as bad as old school Megaten, and other times worse than old school Megaten.
