There have been some cases of bullying in some schools. A lot of educational experts are saying that this occurs more in schools where students don't have uniforms. Do you see that as a factor?

.....what?

How is uniforms going to deter bullying?

I think so personally. I can see it both ways and understand why many would not like uniforms. But coming from a poorer family I know growing up I’d feel marginalised to an extent comparing my clothes to my friends at school because mine were much older, tackier, cheaper than theirs. At least with a uniform everyone is on an equal footing in that regard. Doesn’t stop bullying but prevents another aspect of it.

School uniforms only gives you a sense of belonging to the student base. I can't think of anything else it does.

Look, I got to poke a hold in this. No one ever bullied at my high school because they came in wearing something different.
The only time I got bullied a bit was in the school football team. I mess with a group's head. It didn't end well for me lol.

Any school that's not college should have a uniform. It's a way to have them identified. I don't how it stops one from getting bullied.

Classification is one of the ways that people will get bullied or don't you even think about that?

I think wearing uniforms should be a choice for schools, students and parents who may have problems affording uniforms, or rather spend the uniform money on more important expenses like buying a computers for doing homework.

I think uniforms can be expensive for poorer families who may only be able to afford to buy used clothes from second hand clothing thrift stores, sew their own clothing, wear donated free clothes from charities, or re-using used clothing from older family members who no longer fit older clothes and shoes.

Buying expensive uniforms for schools in poorer places may cause some poorer families to not enough money for more expensive purchases like a graphing calculator, and desktop computer, laptop, and printer which is needed for doing school assignments these days.
