Skype on Xbox One

One of my Skype acquaintances from the USA recently broke her laptop, which was her main way of accessing the internet, and until she can fix it, she uses the Skype app on her Xbox One to keep in touch with us.

Do you have the Skype app installed on your Xbox One, and if so, do you find it to be just as user-friendly as the Skype for PC?

I honestly didn't even know there was an app on Xbox.

I don't see myself using the app outside of it being used on my laptop.

Well, you could see people in video calls on your TV screen, which is pretty cool if you have a large TV set.

Elderly people who have a bit of computer knowledge and want to have video calls with their children or grandchildren from other cities would probably appreciate the experience.

I don't seeing myself using Skype on a TV since you need a TV with a webcam, or the Kinect camera for Xbox One's if you use Skype with the Xbox One.

I wouldn't use it to be honest. Just would seem a bit extra when it could be easily done on a computer without having to buy extra things
