I think a lot of less tech savvy people are using Smart TVs like a Cheap Desktop PC for checking e-mail, Facebook, and YouTube by using the Smart TV's web browser, or an App like how people use cheap tablets as cheap laptops by attaching a USB or Bluetooth keyboard to it to turn it into a cheap laptop instead of buying a cheap laptop or desktop to do the same thing.

Some people may also be using Smart TV as Android game consoles because some Smart TVs come with a remote which also is a game controller for playing games like Angry Birds with the remote, or they can connect a Bluetooth Gamepad controller like the Moga Pro to play games like Shadowgun, and emulator.
