Old news I know, but apparently this Steam game lied about how many levels it had (it only had one unbeatable level instead of the ten or so it promised in the description) and the company offered refunds for it as a result.

So what do you think? Personally, I'm kind of surprised no one's done anything like this before to be honest. The whole 'pretend your game is longer than it is while making the only content impossible to complete' thing sounds like something you'd hear about in the days of arcade machines and having to keep putting in quarters to continue.
But no, apparently not. Surprising that in a world of unfair slots and deliberately cheating claw machines, it took til the modern day for someone to actually pull off this sort of scam.
