I know they're mainly the same thing, but I'm a completionist. And the gold glider would make a nice status symbol.

Meh, I never use things like that simply because I want to enjoy games, not grind for things. Same reason I tended not to use sticker factory setups in Smash Bros Brawl.

Ideally I'd like to get the rest of the coins through races, since a few hundred tough races is far more interesting than farming for coins and not particularly 'racing'.
