So, when we getting that 2D Mario game on 3DS?

Because I haven't seen any hint of a 3DS New Super Mario Bros yet, and you'd have thought after the massive sales success of the DS and Wii games that a 3DS sequel would be right on cue, right?

Plus, didn't Miyamoto hint at a 2D Mario game as well as a 3D one? What do you think?

There will be one for sure but PLEASE NOT New Super Mario Bros.! I like the game but you can't just stick with this name forever and make endless "newer" ones.

Al least design a new way of clearing courses instead of flagpoles.

I think when Miyamoto hinted towards 2D Mario, he was referring to how SM3DL incorporates many elements from the 2D games...

I think we'll get one for the Wii-U first...then after that, we'll get a 3DS one.

Hopefully we get one, as well as something on the Wii U. I'll also use this topic to thrust these forward:

1) I want Yoshi. Properly. Not some levels, I want Super Mario World stuff.
And 2) I wanna be able to pick between Mario, Luigi, and whoever else is available. Because being Mario all the time whilst watching your friends pick whom they want kinda stunk.

Just saying, heh. But yes, hopefully something pops up. Perhaps they are waiting for the hype of 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus Uprising and Paper Mario to wash over, then they'll hit us with that Mario Tennis and this.
