I make music now, specifically using LMMS. Most of it sounds like fight/battle/boss music that'd appear in video games, and this is because one of my dreams is to get music I've created in a game. Like I want people to listen to it and go "dang, this is nice."
I'll go in order of creation, staring with this remix. Constructive criticism appreciated.
-Remixes-
Splatoon Final Boss Remix - https://soundcloud.com/shadoo-2/splatoon-final-boss-remix-v2
This is a remake of another Splatoon Remix I did a long time ago, the only reason I haven't taken that down is because it's gotten like 2,000 plays.
-Original Music-
Accolade - https://soundcloud.com/shadoo-2/accolade
Accolade was the first song I was really satisfied with, and still am. It's kind of simple, though.
Chaos Over - https://soundcloud.com/saladknight/chaos-over
A friend got me into Touhou for like a week, and then I decided to make something that sounds like it'd come out of a shmup. This is the result.
Bass Breaker - https://soundcloud.com/saladknight/bass-breaker
I decided to make a set of music for a thing I was doing that involved different music for each genre, this being the Techno music, but I only ended up doing 2 out of 6 tracks. I'm also terrible with genres anyway, so...
Brass Kisser - https://soundcloud.com/saladknight/brass-kisser
I was terrified of attempting Jazz. I never tried it before. Like how could it go? Would it even turn out well? Apparently, once I set the timescale to 6/8, it went rather well.
A New Possibility - https://soundcloud.com/saladknight/itstime
With this, I was aiming for a sort of ethereal final boss-y feel. I'm preeeetty happy with how it came out.
Stay Well - https://soundcloud.com/saladknight/stay-well
This one...it's very different, compared to my other music. It's inspired a bit by Stickerbrush Symphony.
Paint the Walls RED - https://soundcloud.com/saladknight/paint-the-walls-red
I did this in only 2 days. I am utterly shocked. Like woah. How? Also, this is good fight music.
An Encore to Die For - https://soundcloud.com/saladknight/an-encore-to-die-for
Two months of on and off work. Lots of polishing. The file has around 24 instruments/soundfonts (and at rare points, almost all of them are playing at the same time), and it's so large that it causes my computer's graphics card to downright crash if left open too long, or even in the middle of exporting...it was absolute hell to work with near the end. Also my first attempt at something orchestrated, lemme know what you think!
Site note: I teased this a while ago saying it was leaked final boss music for the next M&L game. It's not. I created this myself from scratch.
Echoes of a Champion - https://soundcloud.com/saladknight/echoes-of-a-champion
I think this one's a mix of Oriental and Electronic? I dunno for sure, I was always bad with genres. This was also kind of an attempt at making an epic Pokémon-esque battle theme. Either way, I hope you enjoy it!
