South Park Wins Emmy For WoW Episode

South Park recieved a well-deserved Emmy last night for their episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft" in the Oustanding Animated Program category. The South Park team wins an Emmy almost every year, and rightfully so. What's interesting about this win is that it was for an episode about Stan, Kyle, Eric, and Kenny giving up on their real lives to becone heroes of Azeroth. Over 9 Million subscribers is nothing to sneeze at, but the gaming world is still percieved as a fringe community to most of the mainstream media. The fact that this was the one to take it home might be a sign that gaming culture is coming out of the closet, so to speak.

If you haven't seen this episode yet, you're a disrace, and should rent or buy season 10 of South Park on DVD as soon as humanly possible.
