Other Square Enix Remaking more Games

In a annual report that was posted today, SE plans to remake more past games and bring them up to current video game standards. In a nutshell, SE said:

For example, we will take an IP developed for earlier generations of game consoles and recreate it for the latest consoles, while also proactively developing versions for play on smart devices.

Every time a game company banks tons of cash they get lazy, not the other way around.

Hopefully they pick some NES or SNES games to remake. Final Fantasy VII is great, but could you imagine say, a Final Fantasy VI or Secret of Mana remake in HD?

I would like FF 6 and 9 remade really, both were great games.

great story and characters that deserve some HD treatment and the cut scenes would look awesome (since this is one of a few FF titles that make heavy use of summons as apart of the story.)
