Making Square Enix games multiplatform is good news for people who only own one console like the Xbox Series X, and don't want to buy another console like the PS5 to play a Square Enix games.
 
That's another W for PC gamers. Square enix games were mostly PS exclusives or timed exclusives till now. Waiting for Final fantasy 16 and 7 part 2.

depends on what engine they are using too. If they are using UE 5 and or UE4 should make things easier as they can run cross platform. And with no exclusivity deal that means they can code the game from day one for multiple platforms instead of porting it later at the end of the exclusivity period. Also kitase and nomura said Tifa PLOT 3 should be done in 3 years time.

so FF7 Division boss Kitase san is now also the boss of DQ Division of SE. So Tifa's PLOT can guesstar in Dragon Quest 12's world lol
