Finished this tonight, wanted to see the hype. Overall, it had a good and yet bad english dubbing, I've watched better last man standing type shows in anime, but this did have really great plot twists. I hear it's getting another season, with a third planned.

Anyone here seen it yet?
 
I wasn't interested at first because it seemed over hyped, but I watched it months ago and it was actually really good. I watched it dubbed because that was the default and I didn't realize it could be subbed, but I couldn't imagine watching it any other way now. Only problem now is it got so big that its everywhere in bootleg form. Some big Youtuber even did Squid Game in real life for some stupid reason. I don't know why people can't just enjoy something without trying it ruin it.

I don't think this is a seires you can do while reading subs, easy to miss something.
 
If I had borrowed some Netflix. Might watch if I had the chance but knowing the overall premise from the Roblox renditions and content creators I really think I butchered my expectations and potential joy already.
 
I've been hearing about this a lot. People seem to be really into it. I actually enjoy Korean based shows. I think the acting is quite good & I've even picked up a few Korean words. I tend to watch it in the native language with English translation.

For those who have watched other survivor shows like Survivor in the USA, how does this compare? My husband & I started watching it but it's too deep for me. He however finished the series.

I think if you like the memes of it that's fine enough. I never watched it but it's funny when not taken seriously.
 
Looking forward to the second season and seeing what they get up to in it. It would have made more sense to finish it in the first season though

I believe the original plan was to have only one season, but a second season is being made by popular demand. So it was meant to be open ended.
 
I guess you could never have expected it to just become as popular as it did. Hopefully the writer/creator got a better contract this time around
 
Squid game was a TV series full of suspense. The way characters are killed in the game was very terrifying. I don't like it so much.

The best Korean movie I ever watched. The movie make sense
