None of us here are getting younger, with the games still requiring at times some hard button inputs, can you still play Megaman?

True, but my wrists are going and some of the hard button presses make it so I can't even play a full game anymore in one or two sittings.

I've never been the best at Megaman lol. I'm decent at 8 because it was the game I played the most growing up, I had to use save states to beat 1, 2, and 3 lol. I only beat Mega Man X in the X series, I almost beat X2 without cheating. I can't even beat one dang level in Mega Man 11. x_X I know the more I play the game the better I'll get at it.
I've ALWAYS been bad at the base Megaman series. Funny enough my most played games as of recent are the different Megaman Legacy Collections, namely the Battle Network and Starforce collections. Completed them both and had an amazing time reliving them. Now i've returned to the Zero/ZX Legacy collection to achievement hunt.
Yeah, i'm still pretty good at Megaman games, just still pretty bad at the standard Megaman titles. Gimme more utility like X/Zero games and I'm in my element.

Exactly this. Especially Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, and yes, Mega Man 4. Anything after that? Difficulty spikes go brrrr.
Not to me. It's easy TODAY. It was hard back then, but got easier by age. I just went through Mega Man 2 with a breeze...
Mega Man 3 was a bit harder because of the glitches, especially Spark Man's stage...
Mega Man 4 was easy at first, but gets harder as soon as you get to the final bosses.
Donkey Kong Country, while a great, and beautiful game... My issue is the jumping is not easy to "cancel." Not easy to maneuver. You jump, and it lands at X or Y. If it lands at "X," that's it. It's harder to do in a competition. I would know, because I competed in a Blockbuster World Championship. I failed because, even though you memorize it. Your nerves can get to you.
I would use the gimmick, but Dr Disrespect already took it.
