Streetpass in Resident Evil: Revelations

I read an article today about how Streetpass will work in the upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations game. It looks like you can use it to get items in your single player campaign or unlock new missions/enemies in co-op mode.

Another interesting tidbit was the picture they used, which showed a Resident Evil bundle including the optional Circle Pad Pro. I have yet to hear any confirmation of this (and as of yesterday my local Gamestop did not know of this deal either).

I am wondering if you have to choose how to apply your streetpass, will it give you both the item in single AND the extra in co-op, or if it is dependent on your current play file. Also, will you be able to trade missions (similar to Dragon Quest IX's treasure maps)? Finally, if so, will I need to always have that game plugged into my 3DS when I go walking?

I'll be getting this game as soon as it comes out, I've been waiting eagerly for months. I'm glad to hear it'll have Streetpass, hopefully they implement it well.

Games usually make extra data so you don't need to have them in. I don't have any doubts that this game will use that.
