SGF Summer Game Fest 2024 Thoughts

SGF didn't bring much this year, but Xbox did finally shine. What were your thoughts on the conference?

my biased opinion lol No Tifa PLOT II PC version announcement so meh lol

No super big blockbuster announcement. But lots of regular big announcements. 2-3 games added to my Wishlist is a good event.

Three games i'm FORSURE playing...

1. Killer Bean
2. Cuffbust
3. PowerRangers RETRO

I don't know what it is, but you can tell the lack of an E3 this year was definitely showing. For the main show to not have anything really new, to Ubisoft essentially showing off DLC and "season content" for the free to play stuff....it was definitely lackluster. Hopefully next year has some time to cook and feel important as the biggest gaming thing of the summer.

I thought it was good, but Nintendo will soon save us all.

There were a lot of neat ideas and artistic design choices in these new games. However gameplay-wise, nothing was on my mind that I really wanted to play for the feel of it.
