With E3 most likely in the grave and never coming back, hopefully next year's show can be bigger.
It is nice to hear that Summer Game Fest 2024 will comeback in 2024.
I knew there was no way coming back for E3 with everything that's happened!
I think it really was a money issue for E3.
A sad thing it is unfortunately.
They were too greedy.
We will be here for the SGF 2024. I am looking forward to a bigger and better version of it next year.
Yeah, that's it. Being greedy is allowed but too greedy isn't going to do anyone good.
That and sometimes the presentations can be a bit cringe when the head of the studio or development shows up and awkwardly try to sell their brand. I'm sure they did at SGF, but at least they show games that are upcoming. Not everyone ends up with something to share and if it's way to early to show, they will lose money before they even spend it.
I think E3 required a certain time amount too, would explain why companies bored us with statistics.
They do it to get us interested even though it's all corporate.
Feedback on live streams were usually negative.
And some still get fed up with it when it goes for long without having much to show for it.
And that's why they can potentially lose money on the deal because their investors see that.
I would stay in for long too if I were one of the investors.
