The hell they know anyway lol.
I liked the nod to it with the Mario Brother and I kind of ignored listening to Mario's voice. It works for the character and I guess having a famous actor play Mario makes it work better, but it wasn't used as much in any outlandish way like say Kamek. I say it was average but it's better than having anyone else. We all got to see Mario anyways.Movie is a success despite low avg critic scores:

Kid Icarus for that split second won the movie for me.
So this movie is the highest selling video game movie of all time, rejoice!
None other could.
Sonic did try.
Watched it today (and the only one in the theater!) and the movie was a blast! And by that I mean it was just a fun adventure that was beautifully animated.
I know more is on the way, can't wait for it.

I saw it! Got the whole auditorium to ourselves! Really good movie! Very faithful to the source material!
Nice! Always great to watch a movie by yourself!
I feel like having an audience adds to the feel of the movie, but if you aren't getting the DVD then I guess more power to you.

It's an acquired taste! Charles M. did play a voice acting role for Mario's father, though!
