It is faster earning Amazon Giftcards, and I think Paypal takes a few dollars for transaction fees from your 10 dollars when people and companies send you money while Amazon Giftcards, you can spend all the money without Amazon charging you transaction fees. If you spend over 25 dollars on Amazon for most items, shipping is free.

Like froggyboy said, it's probably more worth your time to go for Amazon instead. You can get $5 Amazon for 450 points (roughly $4.50), and it's one of the few prizes on SB that actually costs less to redeem that it's value ($4.50 in points vs. $5). $10 Paypal is currently 1335 (1335 = roughly $13.35).
