Good god looks like it's Iraq all over again, I know it's all media over hype but today I've seen three different news articles and it was worst than the last I read. The current one is that Obama is willing to go in alone with this war without Britain.

So whats your thoughts on this?

Well I don't see this playing out exactly like Iraq.

After all, one key difference is Obama rulling out ground troops being sent over there.

It seems at this point that it will be a very limted attack should we do anything, such as air assaults and taking out their bases etc.

At this point the United States has to stay face here and do something whether big or small considering all the big talk Obama was making about doing something.

I feel if the US doesn't do anything, the US maybe in more danger since Chemical weapons from Syria may eventually get sneaked into the US by Syrian spies, terrorists, or gangs who release harmful chemicals in the air, water, and the mail which ends up harming many US citizens.

I remember reading in the news many years ago that terrorists were using the US mail service to send biological weapons to random people and making them sick, so the same thing can happen with chemical weapons.

I honestly dont know what to think other than the fact that yet again the U.S. feels the need to get involved in another country's shit when things aren't exactly smelling like roses on our side of the fence.
Yep, took words right of my mouth, BA & exactly my feelings on this. The US always likes to do that.

Seems he has a lot of pressure pushed on to him to be honest. I may sound harsh in saying this but I am glad that the British PM was out voted to attack Syria as I feel there is no need for it, It's awful that the US may choose to attack alone I admit, I could understand if British and US citizens where affected in the attack but they where not and all that will happen in bursting in and attacking is more innocent lives being taken.

I'm pleased with the British result. I fear though that Obama will win the decision to take action and Britain will eventually get dragged in to help in some for or another.

The worst is France, what a bunch of fools. They refused to do anything in the Iraq war, and having seen what a mess that turned out to be they are all for action against Syria.

Lol yeah, France is downright ridiculous.

Well from what I can understand the Briitish really did not completely rule out going to war along with the United States,France and other allies etc.

They only said that at the moment there will be no military action until the results come back from the United Nations tests on whether there where chemical weapons used in syria.

If the tests come back and says yes then the Prime Minister of Britian (who is in favor of attacking syria) would have the neccesary proof that his paliament said he would need.

As of right now there is no proof and the British parliament voted no on milatary action until there is proof.

So I would not rule out the United Kingdom being out of this just yet.

especially since the United States has recently taken a step back to wait for Congress approval which by the time they get it will probably have the test results back from the UN inspection.

"Just a small island ... no one pays any attention to them".....

lol clearly he does pay attention to us considering he made the effort of referring to us. The Russian moron.

Thing is : Russia could be using Syria as a shield against the US. So Syria is Russia's ploy.
By that, I mean Russia made Syria look like the one who fired the chemical weapons, when in reality, they're from Russia? Either that, or it's once again, an American cover up (weapons coming from the US & etc, even made in USA) & to provokethe Russians.
