table etiquette dying out?

Do you think in the new generation of kids that table etiquette will die out?

of course I just hope eating with your moth close always remains. Personally though I don't do any of the other stuff. (elbows on table, napkin on lap, eating a certain way, not cutting up all your food, ect.)

I do find it dying out,but it isn't just because of the new kids. It is also due to the parents not teaching them proper etiquette. .

I can tell you finding any respect in American is becoming hard these days.

na na... not true, there are people from all walks who are well-mannered.

I do believe that is the case. Sometimes it's because of the parents too. I know one of my colleagues who don't close her mouth while eating and makes loud noises and guess what? Her kid is the same.

She believe that it's cute and I don't know how else to let her know about it, without hurting her. Ugh. ..
