Namco has been spinning tales in its "Tales of" RPG series since December 1995, and in the 12 years since, it has managed to build up to an impressive 10 million units sold worldwide. The company announced the achievement today over in Japan.
The figure accounts for sales of 20 titles, including fan disks and "gaiden" side-stories, since the original Tales of Fantasia on the Super Famicom. Not surprisingly, Japan gets the bulk of the sales at 87%. America comes in second at 8%, with Europe lagging at 3% and the rest of Asia at 2%.
