Konami holds a number a stage events in its Tokyo Game Show booth every year, but none are as big as the Metal Gear related events. This year, showgoers were treated to not one, but two events related to the series, which just turned 20 this year.

The bigger of the two events focused on Metal Gear Solid 4. Hideo Kojima took the stage and introduced the Beauty & Beast boss group. He noted that the characters who make up this group are victims of war rather than soldiers. They were once beautiful, but turned into beasts. "Will they be able to get back to human form?" he asked.

Kojima discusses bosses at the MGS4 stage event. And with that, Kojima aired a video showing the digital conversion of the real-life beauties, as well as his trip to LA for the recording sessions. He later classified each model: Scarlett Chorvat is the Latin Beauty, Meiko Rye is the African Beauty, Lyndall Jarvis is the North American beauty, and Yumi Kikuchi is the Asian Beauty.

We won't know which beauty is associated with which beast until the release of the game, Kojima said, but the identity of one was leaked early. Raging Raven will be played by Kikuchi. Different from the other models, Kikuchi is Japanese and will thus also be providing voiceovers for the Japanese version of the boss.
