I am greatly confused by this. I thought the timeline has not been figured out yet.

Well Nintendo said that there are 3, so Im taking them all head on. Starting with the Young Link, then Adult saga and ending with the Failure saga.

Oh yeah that's right. I remember reading that timeline. I refuse to believe it though because it has a split part where Link failed, even though no where in the game said that he failed to win.

He didn't fail to win because you have to beat the game. Just imagine, if you ever got a game over. That's when the third timeline would start.

Hmm... Interesting challenge, bet it'd be cool though. I remember when I saw the Timeline, for a split second I thought about trying to play them all in that order....but that was for a split second, don't have the money to buy them all nor the time to play them all, it'd probably take me a whole year to do it.

Well I wish you luck on your very long journey!

Nintendo's time lines haven't been released ever. the only ones you can find are made by fans.
In a Nintendo Power interview they said that the time line is "classified" for high level employees of Nintendo working on Zelda games

And when they published the Hyrule Historia, Nintendo confirmed it was the official time line.

Well, technically he only dies in one of the three splits of the timeline. If I remember correctly, that's why Hyrule is flooded in Wind Waker, because Ganon escapes and there's no Hero to stop him. But all the Links have to die at some stage anyway. They can't all just live forever and forever succeed.

That's the thing though. Link would have to die in the adventure. If you die in the adventure you would get a game over. When you game over, you get more chances so Link goes on in the game until he wins meaning he never actually loses.

Yes, but for the purpposes of having another 3 games, they made a parallel universe where he DOES fail.

It took me a Month+ to finally finish Skyward Sword. Now on to Minish Cap. Im excited cause I haven't finish this game yet and now I have a reason to. I will take the Adult era at first so I must get the DS games which are the ones I'm missing.

Actually the timeline that Links dies starts with AlttP and then followed the oracle games, then link's awakening then by the original zelda games. The dark world was created in OoT.

Anyways I just finished Minish Cap, will have to play the Special Four Sword as the original one is next to imposible to play since is a mandatory multiplayer game.

BTW here is the official timeline for those that haven't seen it.
