Heh, was just reading a thread about Sony IP which should make a comeback... this was quite high up the list. Was it a really good game?

ummmmmm hrmmm, I honestly didn't see the huge hype about the game but I think its mostly because it didn't age very well but if I had gotten this back during my PS1 days I would have loved it.
It has an action style gameplay, which you have to hit X at certain times to do more damage and sometimes O to stop an counter attack. The story was very good with great cut scenes and I did enjoy turning into dragons. Though the voice acting was horrible, but again early PS1 days.
If this got a current gen remake or squeal it would be loved, but I wouldn't recommend playing the PS1 game.

I wish, but I don't. I don't know what happened to it either. But I played this on PS3 via PSN download.
