Who's up for tennis? Because now on 3DS, the classic Mario spinoff returns!

First Mario Party, now Mario Tennis... is Mario Golf next in line? Never the less, the screenshots:

Mario looks furious in the banner. Or determined. I think he plans to use that tennis racket as a weapon...

Bowser smashes the ball towards Mario! Also, is that one of the Toad Brigade keeping score?

Peach is obviously playable. I think the colour of each characters shots is different.

A doubles match between the four most well known Mario characters.

Looks like the Toad Brigade and Lakitu are the referees.

Luigi plays ball.

It looks good. And a nice start to the Mario sports game revivals.

You know what this could probably mean... SHY GUY AS PLAYABLE CHARACTER! But yeah, I'm pretty excited for this, I wanted one for the DS, but now that there's one for the 3DS, it's even better!

It will be very interesting to play, and should be a good portable game.

No Shy Guy yet. But there's a pretty good chance he'll be in Mario Kart, Metal Mario, Lakitu and Rosalina will apparently.

Wiggler was in the GameCube one, so I have a good feeling he'll be back along with Petey Piranha, too!

Doesn't Luigi normally play with Daisy? Ah well...

NintenDan, Shy Guy AND Fly Guy where in Mario Power Tennis, so I'm pretty sure they will at the very least APPEAR in the game. If not, well.... That'll be stingy. Also, I wonder if we will be able to play WiFi matches?

Those are some epic screen shots. I am definitely going to pick this game up.

Just an idea: Who would be partial to the idea of Mii's as playable characters in this game? I think that would be really cool.

I'd honestly expect Miis playable as a matter of course. But I wouldn't mind them being playable, it'd make sense in this game.

Those were the days. Doubles with two Shy Guys on the team, it was amazing. I hope one of them pops up.
