I feel like Smash is inevitable for Switch 2 but with less characters and then some new third party. I would give it 2 years.

Honestly I don't think they need to release another one. They've done well with the last one and added a bunch of cool characters that I feel they should just release an enhanced version of the Switch game and add some DLC to maybe add some new characters.
