The world has a large amount of people, so I feel it is difficult to convince everyone not to risk their life doing risky behavior like taking drugs for fun, and risk dying from side effects.

I don't pity any of them that gets done by doing such rubbish.

Is there a main reason you don't pity people who do harmful activities?
I don't pity them, however, what I feel the most for is the remaining family. The husband, wife, mother, father, kid who not only has to deal with a death but a needless one at that. THEY are the victims. That is what is most sad about this.
They are adult and should know better not to do stupid stuff.
