I never really ever wanted to get into the DK series. I just didn't like it that much.
Watching some of those clips? Err... Wow. I'm second-guessing myself now. <_>

Indeed, this is probably going to be my first chance with the series. Sadly, the games kinda ended the series proper back when I was a hardcore Mario obsessive, but since a new Donkey Kong Country is out, I may as well try it. Shame about the Kremlings though.
