The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is a 2022 feature phone reboot of the old 5310, this time featuring 4G LTE support and built-in true wireless earbuds! Coming to the UK for £75 in July, the Nokia 5710 XpressAudio could be a great option for music fans on a very tight budget who want a basic, hardy blower. Here's hoping the battery life is still among the best despite those buds leeching power.

UPDATE: Apparently this handset doesn't support WhatsApp after all, that was a briefing error. Apologies!

Until the phone is released, here's a run-through of the specs and features. I'm hoping to bring you guys a full unboxing and review of the Nokia 5710 soon.

This HMD handset runs Series 30 Plus OS as usual, complete with WhatsApp and Snake, and all the classic apps. 4G VoLTE support brings it up to date for 2022. You have a built in MP3 player and wireless radio too, plus a headphone jack and stereo speakers if your wireless earbuds run out of juice.

The Nokia 5710 features a simple VGA camera with flash, plus microSD support to expand the meagre on-board storage.

This looks like a good phone for people who need a basic cell phone and wireless ear-buds. I like the look of the Nokia 5710. It also looks durable.

Neat, but I'm not a earbud fan.

Earbuds with the phone is a gimmick incentive, but they look like the type to get lost and then you'd need a replacement.

The wireless earbuds and the built-in charging case is probably the main reason buyers will buy this phone.

I think the £75 price of this phone can convince people to buy this phone because the phone comes with wireless earbuds and a charging case built-into the phone.

Good for some I guess but not for me. I can't imagine the quality of those earbuds being great though for that price

I feel this Nokia phone would also be very reliable because Nokia cell phone look like it uses a simpler operating system, and the phone pre-installed apps are basic apps like messaging, music player, and camera which usually don't suffer from slowdown problems. There are also not a lot of hardware features like a large touchscreen which can sometimes break more easily than a more basic LCD with a clear plastic screen cover on top of the screen.

Fair point! I feel like this would be a good secondary phone.

I agree this would be a good secondary device for using at times when your regular smartphone is out of battery power, stolen, lost, or broken because of an accidental drop in water or a hard floor.

True, this would be a more up-to-date option, when service for older phones goes away, but also note your service areas based on your carrier, when you plan on being out and about, and the functions each of your phones have. Like if a newer phone had a tracker app or tag, you might use the secondary phone for a short while.
