First of all, everything that are posted in RED are non-game posts and everything in any other colour are playing posts. For this game you need 1 dice. So, what's the purpose of this game? It's like an RPG with the story taken out of it. Basically, it's only battles.
So, first of all you need a character. A character has 4 stats: HP, Attack, Defence and Luck. Your first post in this topic should look something like this:

HP: 30
Attack: 4
Defence: 3
Luck: 4
Right, I believe you're owed an explanation on how to obtain each stat. So, here goes:
HP: Roll ONE dice. Multiply by 10. This is your HP score.
Attack: Roll ONE dice. This number is your attack score.
Defence: Roll ONE die. This is your defense score.
Luck: Roll ONE dice. If you score 1, change it to 6. If you get 2, change it to 5. If you get 3, change it to 4. If you get 4, 5 or 6, keep it. This is your luck score.
Battles
When a monster is defeated, I'll post the next one. But how do you defeat it? Here's a step by step guide:
1. Roll ONE dice. If this is LOWER than your Luck score, your attack is successful.
2. Roll ONE dice. This determines how many times you attack.
3. Subtract the monster's DEFENCE score from your ATTACK score.
4. Multiply the amount of times you attacked by the number you found in Step 3. This is the HP damage you caused to the monster.
5. Roll ONE dice. This is the amount of HP damage the monster caused you. (Some monsters may have a '+damage' stat. You simply add this number to the number you rolled).
6. Simply post the amount of HP the monster has left, and the amount of HP you have left.
So this is what your post will look like:

The monster has 2 HP left after my attack. I have 22 HP left after the monster's attack.
Shops
Shops will pop up every so often, allowing you to trade for weapons or potions. Weapons increase stats and potions increase health. Buying things costs however. Potions will cost you EITHER 1 Attack or Defencd stat, while weapons will cost you HP. Their effects will be detailed in the shop posts. Transactions can be made until a new monster is posted.

So, those are the rules. Enjoy it!

Maybe we could have a roll for critical hits? I just feel the luck stat here replaced accuracy, which could just be some roll associated with each monster (some having boosted evasion you have to roll for but most having very low evasion). Also, do we level up when we kill things?
 
The only problem is that then it gets pretty complicated. I did try to keep it as simple as possible.... Hmmm... I think as we progress I'll steadily make it more complicated, that way people will have already had an opportunity to try get the hang of it... As for classes, why not? They'll be aesthetic for the moment, but you'd never know!

Alright, I made my first attack on the Goomba. I caused 6 damage, meaning it has 4 remaining.
It dealt 5 (!) damage to me, meaning I have 35 HP.

Goomba: HP: 4
Me: HP: 35.

(If monsters attack FIRST, then I took 2 damage. If they attack second, then I wouldn't take damage?)

Enemy Goomba is defeated!
 
No, monsters attack second. This way, people with lower HP can possibly defeat bigger monsters without being killed. Also, things are going to get complicated soon, when monsters have shields and magic is introduced.
The Goomba was defeated! The questers move to the next room. In this room there is a SHOP.
The shop sells:
1. Blue potion: Increases HP by 20. Costs 1 Defence point.
2. Wooden Sword. Raises Attack by 2, but burns easily. Costs 15 HP.
3. Iron Sword. Raises attack by 3 but doesn't affect rock-based monsters. Costs 20 HP.

That's all this shop sells.

Right! More sign ups! Gagagoogle, there's no need to kill a monster that's already been killed, when killing a monster, simply look at the persons post above yours to see how much HP it has left.
The questers don't buy anything due to the (extreme) expense of the shop. In the next room there is a BOKOBLIN. The BOKOBLIN has a shield!
Bokoblin.
HP: 15
Defence: 0
+Damage: 1
Shield: 5
Ok, time to explain how shields work. The shield score is basically a second HP meter you must break before you can harm the monster. So, when you might have caused 18 damage to the monster, 5 of that goes towards breaking the shield, so you only reduce the monsters HP by 13. You still work as normal otherwise. Get it?
John the Wanderer failed to hit the Bokoblin due to bad luck.

will the classes have any significance?

Gagagoogle the Dragoon made an unassisted kill. Gagagoogle can add 1 to any score of his/her choice! The questers move to the next room. In this room there is a Metal Shield Moblin! It's a Mini-boss!!
Metal-Shield Moblin

Shield: 10

John the Wanderer successfully attacked the Metal-Shield Moblin 3 times! John caused 6 damage to the shield! The shield now has a score of 4! The Metal-Shield Moblin dealt 4 HP damage to John! John has 31 HP remaining!
The Metal-Shield Moblin has 30 HP remaining and a shield score of 4!

SSF the Ninja rolls a 4 for luck.Attack is successful.
I roll a 6 in atk,but Def 3 makes me use 3 atk.
4 combo!
6-3=3x4=12
Moblin is defeated!!!!!

Wait. You don't roll your attack power every turn. Your attack stat is 4 so you should do 4-3=1 damage per hit. With a 4 hit combo the Moblin is still alive with 7 HP remaining. If you rolled a 6 for your combo and was just confused, then he is still alive with 5 HP remaining.
