They're rescreening the Super Mario Bros movie?

I guess there are fans dedicated enough they booked cinemas and are holding new screens of the old live action Mario movie that came and died all those years ago:

Not something I'd want to attend, but it's sort of nice even the old Mario tie in media still has its fans.

that movie sucks so bad... Luigi is the main role basicly, and no peach, the goombas and koopas are messed up Aliens, Yoshi and Daisy are the only decent characters, because Mario looks ridiculous and Luigi has a main role in the movie and their outfits arent even good, and Daisy isnt a princess, Bowser is a human and has a wife in the movie and there are other humans in the series and NO toads which isnt in the games..this movie sucked HARDCORE imo i skipped through it cuz it was that bad

That's pretty cool. I love that movie. Not something I would watch all the time even though I own it. I like that Luigi was the lead and that Daisy did some that wasn't annoying.

It doesn't follow Mario. Who cares? If you never played Mario prior to this movie, it won't be hard to follow. Plus Luigi needs some love. I love the movie because it's strays away from traditional Mario. That doesn't mean I wouldn't love one that follows the story of traditional Mario, but this works too.
