I leave my file on Animal Crossing alone for 3 DAYS! When I finally get back on this happens...

Apparently the animals weren't pleased with me for "neglect of duty" so they gave me the ol' cremation and now I gotta start a new town all over again... NUTS!! Not even disobeying the laws of Resetti could save me from this firey fate.

Nintendo! How the hell does this even come across as a good idea?! I mean i'll admit it was kinda funny you actually put this in the game, but now I gotta start over because I got a little bored of the game and left it alone for 3 days?!

Oh, and apparently this also happens if you constantly hit your animals with the net and litter trash all over your town... freedom to do whatever you want? Not so much in this game...

Has this happened to any of you? This is truly a dumb new mechanic and it just kills the game for me...
 
Is this.. legit? Seriously that's messed up for a kids game. I mean I don't want to doubt your credibility, but that's crazy.

You're telling me. When I first saw this I couldn't believe what I was seeing. A "Game Over" in an Animal Crossing game?? And not just any regular game over either....
 
I can't find anything else about this either. Why does it do that? People can't play every day. I know I won't be able. So you have to start over if you don't play for like 3 days? Who thought that was a good idea?
 
This seems too ridiculous to be true... (In other words, this seems fake)

if this is true, its probably to prevent people who would change dates.

quick! someone who recently got it, change your 3ds date to a year later after starting a new town and see if this happens!
