This lag/glitch in Mario Kart 7 was weird...

I was playing against someone on Wuhu Mountain Loop, and it seems like the order we were in got permanently mixed up. So the person who was in the lead was in second and the person behind in last.

And the items matched. I got Bananas, Green Shells and other junk in last, the guy in first got a Luck Seven, Triple Mushrooms and other cool stuff!

What happened when the match ended? The winner was the right guy, but it played the losing fanfare instead of the winning one for him.

Probably lag, but a damn weird case regardless.

Never happened to me, but once I got a red shell, fired it at the person in front of me. It went backwards and hit me. I came last...

I've actually had this happen too. Some guy who was in last (think it was Dev) the whole race actually came second. And I knew something was fishy because I was having a really terrible race and nobody in the whole universe could be near me while I was losing.
