Saw Bill Gates comment that AI will most likely replace all Doctors and Teachers in 10 or so years. Do you think this will happen?

If AI replaced doctors, then the problem would be a lot of misunderstood people getting the wrong care. Teachers, however, are more likely to get the boot. AI help can be super useful in many ways with general teaching and ease of finding correct information.

I will seriously improve outcomes for some students. It will take us to a time where good quality healthcare and education is far less paywalled.
But I don't want it to happen regardless.

I feel it may take sometime before AI replaces doctors and teachers because the electrical grid in some countries may not be able to make enough electricity to power many AI computers for the entire year without power outages.

Battery backup power supplies and gas power generators maybe too expensive for some towns.

It depends on the adaptability as well.
Let's see... As doctors, the AI should be able to make the correct decision at all times... As mistakes ......just can't be made.
As teachers... Well, will the students be able to take them seriously? Will it able to understand if someone's just daydreaming while looking at the lesson board?
So, it depends

I think AI computers need to be very protected from problems like earthquakes, and power outages, internet outages, and computer viruses before it can totally replace medical and teaching tasks.
