It's out in Japan now, and comes out elsewhere within the month. Here's a launch trailer:
Personally... I'm not exactly convinced. Heck, I'm not 100% sure what the point of it is, given that there's no direct communication in the app. Reggie and co really seem to fancy its chances though:
Agreed and agreed. definitely it borrowed a lot from Tomodachi Life, it looks like a very limited version where you only have one character (your look alike) but seems like you can still get room styles and outfits.
In past videos the answers seemed to be choice based, so seeing here actually openly typing an answer gives me some reassurance. Depending how well it connects with other social networks and if my friends use it, I think I actually might have some fun with it. Sure, it seems pointless, but so long I can do something with it for free, I will be fine.
It looks super cute! I never got too into Tomodachi Life, but I enjoyed it as a concept. I like that it's got some part of that, with a lot more customization options in the form of the posing and pictures, that'll be fun. Actually looks a bit like Bitmoji.
I really love Miitomo it's super addictive! It's like "Facebook" but rewards you with "dressup" items for chatting there. I already have over 600 friends in Miitomo and there's some REALLY funny conversations that people start about the strangest things lol.
I've been enjoying it, it beats Facebook by a long shot and is a nice little distraction for small bursts of free time. I'd say nintendo really outdid themselves with the app.
I've been using it recently. I wouldn't mind adding you guys. It has been a fun game so far.
I have a lot of fun uploading images from the phone to add my mii on it.
Now I can 'fix' the timeline splits right from my phone. View attachment 199
