You know, this Zelda game shown at E3 this year?

Personally, I'm interested in it. Scarescraper was fun in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and Four Swords was fun in general.

My only worry is that apparently, anyone quitting mid game causes the whole team to get a game over, so Nintendo's wifi being crap might cause more losses than than the actual enemies or dungeon design.

But what do you think?

To be honest, I think it looks really cool. Four Swords Adventure was awesome and Four Swords was... okay-ish. Though with online multiplayer, I think this game has real potential.

I was excited until I realized it was a puzzley, mini-gamey style game rather then an actual epic adventure. Instant mood killer right there, I prefer single player, non minigame style games personally. Probably won't be getting this.

Was excited about this game just by hearing about it. This is actually the first time I see the trailer. I get that the three links are cause of the triforce, but I would've prefer to have the Four heroes back.

The most annoying thing about it is that it's ONLY 3 players. I wish they'd design these games and enable some sort of bot for them, so my husband and I could play it, without having to fine someone else, or be forced to play online.

That really is annoying though. I mean either it's not online or you NEED to have exactly the right amount of people to play. Why can't it be like Four Swords? If you had two people, you had two links. Geez.

Well, it does allow you to make more complex puzzles when you can plan them for a specific number of players, but that also limits your audience as well. It's a double edged sword. :/

I understand, but still. Maybe have some kind of puzzle change for 2 player mode. I mean there are a lot of games that have differences from 1 player to multiplayer. I don't see why this can't do the same.

It's a lot of extra work, especially when you're intending there to be a certain number of players to begin with. I don't see why they can't give you a bot player to work with, or let you switch between a dummy character and your character, so you can play outside the 3 specified number. But then, it's still early. Maybe more news will be released and they'll give us more options!

Three is a really arbitary number though.
Only marginally more arbitrary then requiring two or four when you think about it though; two player just became the standard back in the olden days and most people prefer even numbers to odd. :/ Supposedly they did testing on it and 3 was determined to give them the best gameplay.
