A few weeks ago I got my psvr. I was not overenthusiastic about it, I just wanted to check VR and Playstation offered the cheapest solution. I tried all the Demos and can't say I was impressed by it. But one caught my attention, Thumper. So I bought it. The game it self it's good, I've tried it on the TV, nothing amazing, but good, yet with VR it just becomes a whole different beast.
With VR it's difficult to translate into words the experience. Specifically with Thumper, when you are at break neck speeds, with perfect timing, totaly immersed in the fantastic soundtrack and environment, it just clicks and makes me feel like this game embodies the best of what gaming can aspire to be. A pleasant surprise.
