Switch Transfer BOTW progress from Wii U to Switch

Since the most recent post on the topic had a note from a moderator to just submit a new topic, I figured I would. descargar tonos de llamada

It's been a year since anyone's asked, so I though I'd check to see if anyone at Nintendo had figured out how to transfer BOTW progress from the Wii U to the Switch. My new copy of BOTW for the Switch is arriving later today, so figured this is my last chance to ask before I have to start over.

You just have to start over (rebuy the game) if you're going from one to the other, it sucks but shows Nintendo's age and how far behind they are.

Idk if Xbox does this, as I only own a 360, but Sony didn’t let you transfer saves from a PS3 to PS4 for the same game. There’s also quite a few Vita releases that didn’t have PS4 cross save either.

So I wouldn’t say it’s really just Nintendo.

I thought Sony fixed that later on, I must be wrong.
 
I started again, I was sick of waiting but actually the game felt a lot better the second time around. I'm nearly at 100% now :)
