President Donald Trump's social media team on Tuesday found out the hard way that it's dangerous to go alone against fans of the beloved Zelda gaming franchise.

Right after the White House posted a video of Trump taking the lead role in a Zelda-style video, critics on social media pushed back all the way to Hyrule.

The 34-second video, which borrows heavily from Nintendo's iconic intellectual property, gives "The Legend of Zelda" logo a MAGA makeover, turning it into "The Legend of Trump." A game version of Trump runs into the White House and scribbles on some paper as text on the screen states: "President Trump is working tirelessly... TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!!"

Some remade the meme to show a game-ified president on the infamous island once owned by late *** offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was once close friends with Trump.

Others called out the video as a distraction from Trump's refusal to release the full files related to Epstein ― and a distraction amid rising prices, record fuel costs, and a war with Iran that's turning into a quagmire, among other things.

More than a few also noted the irony of the White House using the word "tirelessly" given the president's tendency to seem to doze off during events.

I think putting Trump in the game would sell more copies. But someone can just mod it and play it for free for the fun of it.

putting him in the game would lower the sales badly lol given his current popularity/approval rating numbers, even the numbers on his Fox News are low, and the amount of backlash from the tweet showed it too pretty much. Mostly Only Trump extremists would actually buy the game, especially if he was the mc in the game like the US gov tweet above imo.

And It's hilarious because Zelda is the princess in the game so by changing Zelda with Trump that means Trump is a princess, so Trump is saying he is a woman and not a man in truth just like the legend lol.

I guess who's ever in charge of the White House social media pages must think that making stupid games and memes is going to make us forget about the Epstein files.
