This is really good news because it gives people more options to grow their audiences. I wonder what the main cause of this change was though as Twitch is pretty strict.
 
They do have a lot of fine print behind this. Partners can only simulcast to other web based sites (like YT and FB) for a non-extended amount of time and some other grey area rules to the new abilities. It sounds like something that will be judged in a massively biased way and makes creators choose between building a new platform or maximizing their successful Twitch channel.
 
I feel Twitch letting streamers also stream on other websites may help promote Twitch to more users who may never heard of Twitch, but learn of Twitch from watching the Twitch stream on YouTube Live, Instagram Live and Facebook live.

It's a shame it took them as long as it did to make this possible. Ninja purposely got rid of his partnership so that he could multi-stream to different platforms and he says that was the best decision he ever made and makes more now than he ever did just being on Twitch.

As much as it is a good move, it could be too little too late.
