Popular Twitch streamer and content creator Amouranth, whose real name is Kaitlyn Siragusa, was the victim of a violent home invasion that left her injured and hospitalized. The harrowing ordeal unfolded in the late hours of March 2, 2025, when armed intruders stormed her home, demanding access to her cryptocurrency holdings.

Despite being physically assaulted, Siragusa managed to fight back, injuring one of the attackers before law enforcement intervened. She is now safe and recovering.

According to Siragusa’s live updates on Twitter, she was abruptly pulled from her bed at gunpoint by multiple intruders. The attackers, fixated on her cryptocurrency assets, yelled demands for her to log into her accounts.

It is unfortunate that the police and government could not protect Kaitlyn from being robbed by having more police patrols to capture more robbers, so Kaitlyn is less likely to be held hostage in her own home because more criminals got captured before they can commit more crimes.

Absolutely, this is why so many famous people have bodyguards. It's probably best if you are becoming popular on Twitch or any social media site to start looking for ways to protect yourself.
 
I wonder if Kaitlyn would less likely of being robbery victim if she deposited her money like US dollars in a regular bank account and use traditional ways of investing money like investing in the stock market and retirement funds instead of investing in cryptocurrency which can quickly go up in value in a few weeks to months which can make you rich, and a target of being robbed of your cryptocurrency which may suddenly be worth many thousands and millions of dollars for some reason.
