Our next look at Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Agito XIII will happen in January, although a bit later than expected.
You might recall Square Enix having mentioned some sort of "Fabula Nova Crystallis" conference back at the Tokyo Game Show. This event, announced then for January 11, would provide a look at the Final Fantasy XIII sister projects along with other titles from the Tetsuya Nomura side of Square Enix.
Today, Square Enix provided an update on the event. It's undergone a name change to "Square Enix 1st Production Department Premier." Also, the date has changed to January 18.
Square Enix will be inviting fans to attend the event, which will take place at the Toho Cinemas facility in Tokyo's Roppongi area. For the Japan-based, details will be announced at the event info page shortly.
The name change suggests that there will be more to the event than just the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. Of course, Tetsuya Nomura himself said as much in post TGS interviews. In addition to Agito and Versus, Nomura said to expect the latest info on Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy.
Nomura is also responsible for all those Kingdom Hearts games, so perhaps we can expect some sort of update on Kingdom Hearts 3D as well.
