Vivaldi Browser

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Torch could install Chrome apps too if it uses Chromium.

alakazam, why would it be better if they made their own plugins and opted not to allow others? I mean if they use Chrome's they can tap into an already massive library of choices for users. Plus it would encourage people to at least try Vivaldi if they knew their favourite plugins would go with them.
Making their own though would be slower, have far fewer choices and take time away from working on the core browser and making it great.
And Yet, Torch is doing better.

I've never heard of Torch before now so I have no idea whether or not it actually is doing better or not. Though I would kind of hope it would if it's been out longer than Vivaldi.

When it comes to bug fixes they can take some time to get done. They have to test, figure out what is causing it and where that is then come up with a solution. Then test it and make sure it doesn't break something else. And, as sad as this is, they only have a certain amount of time so they need to prioritize some bugs over others. The bigger, more devastating, bugs have to be dealt with first. Then things that are perhaps annoying but not completely destructive to use come later. So yes it's been a while since it was reported, but be patient and they'll fix it. For now just use the workaround they've offered.

Apparently, the new version of Vivaldi seems to have a major problem with XenForo. Every time you quote someone and then press backspace to delete some text in the text editing box, it takes you back to the previous page. I reported the bug on their support forums a while ago, but they still haven't fixed it.

seems like the functions aren't converting to the posting block for some reason.
