It's in nintendo's pokemon trademarks and Pok (Pokemon) and Ken (japanese for something like tough, or fist.)


Oh. Well sudden HadouKEN and that other one that ends in ken suddenly makes a whole lot more sense.



Yeah like ShoryuKEN means rising dragon 'fist'.
 
This isn't surprising at all. Lucario had his own movie, was in the anime, everyone got him for free in the games, it was an easy choice for HAL and Nintendo.

Although I wish they'd bring back Pokemon Trainer. Final Smash for each of the three was their Mega Evolution? Awesome!
 
I am both surprised and happy that Lucario has been confirmed for SSB4. I just started using Lucario on Brawl not too long ago and I must say I love using him. It also awesome because now my two favorite characters from Brawl have been announced for SSB4. Toon Link and Lucario.
