If you could, would you change your PSN and to what?
 
I just honestly wish that i had a more original name, Currently mine is "Shaakey" and has been there for a few years.
 
It sucks. Originally I spend hours trying to find a name that didn't have a bunch of numbers in front of it. Now I got this "AidsorHIV" name. It's been a serious problem for joining games. People can get a little sensitive with my name.

What if it was just "AIDS" or "HiV"?  :yes:

I'm kind of surprised Sony hasn't banned your name.
 
They need to spend more time banning people who can't seem to stop cheating online. :p

The thing is my name kind of hits a gray area. Originally I picked it for FPS games because is gets people laughing their heads off when they get messages like "You've been killed by AidsorHIV!!". The guys from the FPS accept the name fine but when I explored other types of games it all went to hell.

The PSN team can't really justify banning my name considering there are countless "Eliteassassin" etc type names which does sort of mean Murdering people. My name is no worse. It just happened to strike a cord with a lot of people. They get sensitive. (Actually if I remember correctly GP from this forum once was arguing with me and said "with a name like AidsorHIV there's no point of listening to you" hahaha.
 
I wouldn't change my PSN ID. (I like my screen name and I don't see any point in changing. )
I have no idea what I'd even change it to if I could. 

Though the problem with cheaters is that you have to actually catch and report them. And a lot of people can't be arsed to do that. (Or they feel like reports aren't listened to/acted on. So they don't bother even trying.)
 
Even if I could change my PSN username I probably would not as the username I have is one that has been with me for a long time so changing it to anything else would not be appropriate for me. I don't think it's a bad thing you can not change your username on the Playstation as it prevents people who abuse their accounts from changing their name and coming back to do it again making you unaware of who they are.
