WB wanting Momoa to play the lead role, read from CBR:

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom star Jason Momoa is reportedly in talks to lead Warner Bros.' Minecraft movie.

Momoa is being eyed for the starring voiceover role in what's planned to be the first in a new movie franchise inspired by the fan-favorite video game. Jared Hess is directing from a script by Allison Schroeder.

I think this is going to bomb, you can't make something like MC into a movie.

I think the Minecraft Movie may have some success with Minecraft fans, and younger viewers, but I think the plot needs to be very good to convince people to watch it.

I feel I watch Minecraft when it gets release to Netflix, DVD, or broadcast on cable TV/
