Tickets cost 50 credits (for now) and there is a drawing on or around the first of each month (or every 31 days, for now)!

Every drawing without a grand prize winner will have the sum of all purchased tickets since the last drawing will be added to the grand prize pool! Whenever the grand prize is won, then it will be reset to 10,000,000,000 credits!

Anyone who wins a prize in the lottery should report it here, so I can grant rewards where necessary!

Prize details are as follows:
Grand prize: 10,000,001,220 credits (Match 10 out of 10 plus 2 bonus numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 85,686,031,809,378,000)
Super prize: 5,000,000,000 credits (Match 10 out of 10 plus 1 bonus number) (Odds of winning: 1 in 1,194,411,352,494,360)
First prize: 1,000,000,000 credits (Match 10 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 17,310,309,456,440)
Second prize: 750,000,000 credits (Match 9 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 1,902,231,808,400)
Third prize: 500,000,000 credits (Match 8 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 186,087,894,300)
Forth prize: 250,000,000 credits (Match 7 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 16,007,560,800)
Fifth prize: 100,000,000 credits (Match 6 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 1 in 1,192,052,400)
Sixth prize: 50,000,000 5,000 credits (Match 5 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 75,287,520)
Seventh prize: 25,000,000 1,000 credits (Match 4 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 3,921,225)
Eighth prize: 10,000,000 500 credits (Match 3 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 161,700)
Ninth prize: 5,000,000 300 credits (Match 2 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 4,950)
Tenth prize: 1,000,000 100 credits (Match 1 out of 10 numbers) (Odds of winning: 1 in 100)

Struckthrough amounts were the originally planned prizes, and depending on the frequency of members winning these lower tier prizes, they may re-increase to these originally intended values! This is an experimental, but necessary addition, so the lottery isn't TOO impossible to win! Not to mention that members can buy multiple tickets which further necessitated the huge decrease!

Anyone who wins the Grand prize will get an award to go along with their winnings, which is worth a whopping 10,000 points! Anyone who wins at least 7th prize will get an award to go along with their winnings, and is worth 7,000 points!

I like that Gaminglatest Lottery ticket cost 50 Credits.
 
Pretty cool addition and I'm sure it's going to be extremely hard to win lol. Are you sure you guys want to keep those prizes that high though? All it takes is a bit of luck and someone has the potential to get a million giftcards from Demon
 
Trust me, the odds are lower than winning the grand prize in the Powerball Lottery! The prizes are just!

And I'm pretty sure Demon_Skeith will only give out one gift card per member per certain time period! He's got it all figured out!

This is current;y an experiment, so the lottery may be changed when necessary! We may add special lotteries for special events occasionally to win special prizes if the lottery works out well enough! But we'll see! I may have to increase the ticket costs if members buy too many tickets (You can buy unlimited tickets at the moment) as well!

Since this forum doesn't have a progressive jackpot, each month that has no grand prize winner, I will add the sum of all purchased lottery tickets to the grand prize! Whenever the grand prize is won, the grand prize will be reset to 10,000,000,000 credits!

It would be nice if functionality could be added to buy a "lucky dip" of 10 random numbers.. Might even get a few more takers! ;)
 
The odds of winning the grand prize are 85,686,031,809,378,000 to 1! I've listed the odds for each prize, and added 6 more prizes, so now you need to match at least 1 number to win 100 credits! Odds are still 1 in 100, so you'll need to buy multiple tickets! Ninth prize is worth 300 for 2 numbers, and that's a 1 in 4,950 chance!

The credits I received from postings and MOTM are currently more than enough and I still have around 85,000 credits in my GL's bank account too, unless there's a sudden surge of PLOT games I want then I will start gambling lol.

It's indeed a nice feature of the forum though no denying that.
