The only game I can think of right now is Mushroom Men for the Wii. I mean it's not a bad game, it's just awkward and it's hard to pick up. I've had it for like 2 years and have only beaten like the first thing in it.
I'm not very good at finishing games in general. It doesn't necessarily mean I disliked them. From time to time I'll pick up a game I haven't played in months just for the sake of variety.
Sonic Generations 3DS is a game I haven't gone back to. I got stuck on what I think is the final boss. I attempted it enough times that it just seems like a waste of time. I'd love to be done with it, but it got to the stage where I'd pick it up and I'd feel like 'do I really want to throw away another half hour on this'? I never like boss battles anyway. The levels are the bits I enjoy, but on that game, you fly through them without hardly giving it your full concentration. They were good levels, but it's like I was being forced to spend most of my time on the least enjoyable aspect of the game.
Blade II (original xbox)
Crime Life Gang Wars (original xbox)
Final Fight Streetwise...I liked it at one point but my interest in it completely died now it just sits on my original xbox game shelf collecting dust
• I disliked Shadow the Hedgehog, but I had the tolerance to get all As on there. Same for Sonic Heroes, and that game was probably a lot worse when it came to glitches.
• Tamagotchi Connection Corner Shop 2? Friggin hated that game the most yet I finished that and gave it away to some little girl. *Facepalm* Least I gave it away, I never really gave away games before.
• Oh. Got it. Monkey Hero, for the PS1. I had no idea what to do in that game, I swear I wandered around lost most of the time..and that was just around the beginning! I've seen videos of the final boss too, seemed like screwy glitchy nonsense going on at the end, the guy lost all his life so many times. Made me kinda glad I didn't finish it. Some of the music is still stuck in my mind though, if I think about the game..
hmm... Final Fantasy 7... it wasnt that appealing. didnt even get past the first section. it was ugly even for its time. and Resident Evil 1... i have it as more of a cure for boredom and just play it if im on my PS3 with nothing to do
I found PilotWings Resort too boring, I stopped playing Borderlands partway through the second DLC, and I've never gone around to beating BL2 either. Part of me always wants to finish Skyrim, but no matter what questline you do you're always just sneaking around through dank caves and junk. That's not to say any of those are bad games IMO (bar PilotWings), I've certainly got my money's worth out of them.
I have a love-hate relationship with Super Meat Boy. I've reconciled the fact that I will never complete it, but it still takes a certain amount of willpower to keep from trying in vain again. Same deal with Binding of Isaac.
I think the only game I've ever stopped playing out of sheer dislike though was Krater. I was pretty pissed when an indie game wouldn't run on my brand-new computer and I'm still not sure anyone can run it without difficulty.
