I once cracked it and said "it is unprofessional to show up to class" once.

Didn't go down well.

Well, not really. They always have the upper-hand and not all the teachers are nice....still, I have never acted rude towards a teacher. Sometimes I do ask them why something should be so wrong....but that's about it.
