Toad! He always has been and always will be my favorite character in the Mario line-up. With his Herculean strength and small stature the possibilities for games is varied and open.
There's that one guy from Luigi's Mansion, the one that you're trying to save. What was his name... Ah, right, that Mario guy. He looks kinda like Luigi, and it is the year of Luigi, so I think they could make a good game with Mario.

Mario like kind of lame. I mean he wears my favorite color but looks aren't everything. He looks too out of shape to be a hero.
Waluigi probably won't ever have a game, since I remember Nintendo themselves saying they only put him in the franchise because Wario looked pretty lonely. But come on: Wario developed TWO franchises of his very own and Waluigi is just in sports games. They said they literally hate him at one point I think, one time when they thought about putting him in Super Mario 64 DS everyone was just like "NO." then that stupid DEVIANTArt project made people believe he was in it....pissed off a lot of people. Then Waluigi gained relevance, but still he is pretty weird and I would love to see just one game with him in it as a whole. Waluigi should finally have his own franchise, since we've waited long enough as it is. Mario has, well Mario; Luigi has ghosts, Wario has his trademark weirdness that REALLY set aside in Brawl (he's seriously my favorite character in Brawl just because of how flawless his personality is impleneted into the game; his overall weirdness is just fantastic) and his microgames and his Land series too. Waluigi definitely needs something, and not knowing what he could be in really makes me just want to put my faith in Nintendo to see what they can do with this guy. He could easily have a great game, aside from being in just the Mario sports games and party games. Heck, he should be in the next Smash Bros; that could definitely redefine his well-being. Then we might see a game with him at last.
They should do with Waluigi what they did with Donkey Kong back then. Y'know, when Rare invented Donkey Kong Country to give DK his own series? They should just come up with SOMETHING that defines Waluigi and then make a game out of it. For Wario that was his treasure hunting and greed.
What's unique about Waluigi? ...well...good question.... maybe they should just invent something that makes him unique. Expand the universe and all.
